Corry Molter, CPA

SENIOR TAX ADVISOR

Corry, a licensed North Carolina Certified Public Accountant (CPA), joined the Timonier team in January of 2022 and is serving in the tax department as a Senior Tax Advisor and will be working alongside Timonier’s Tax Director, Sam McCraw.

In addition to her CPA designation, Corry holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business and Economics after finishing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Winston Salem State University.

Corry has served a multitude of roles in the financial services industry beginning in 1999 with a local tax firm where she assisted with preparing tax returns, providing bookkeeping and payroll services, and providing internal financial accounting services for the firm.

Corry also embodies the enterprising spirit and helped establish a successful automotive franchise with her business partner.

Corry looks to grow beyond her experience with Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP where she served as a Senior Tax Associate and gained invaluable experience in the public accounting setting. Her responsibilities included the development and implementation of a firm-wide software conversion, while also providing accounting and tax services for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit entities.

Corry became a Piedmont resident by way of Pennsylvania but has also lived in eight of the United States by virtue of her father’s Air Force service (Hawaii was her favorite). When Corry is not hunting for tax deductions or providing tax consulting services she enjoys home improvement projects with her partner Mike, hiking, reading, and is a self-proclaimed speedy dissectologist. Corry also enjoys using her professional skillsets with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program where she assists in preparing tax returns for low-income families.
